Tack Coat
Spread a very thin layer of bitumen emulsion on the asphalt or concrete surface in order to impregnate these surfaces and create and adhere to the asphalt crust which is subsequently spread on it. In fact, surface coating is required to create adhesion between the existing and new asphalt layers.
Prime Coat
Infiltration coating is done to prepare the sandy road surface for spreading asphalt crust. Prime coat bitumen, which is spread on the surface of the sand road, penetrates into its pores and in addition to strengthening the surface of the sand road, facilitates the adhesion of the asphalt crust to the body of the road.
Fog Seal
The emulsion bitumen is diluted without the use of aggregate coatings and materials to regenerate asphalt surfaces, which is mainly used to increase adhesion to the asphalt surface and to strengthen dry and damaged asphalt surfaces due to weather conditions, as well as to fill joints. As a sealing waterproofing, fine-grained cracks prevent the infiltration of rainwater into the underlying layers, stabilizing the grains of sand in the asphalt and preventing sanding.
Chip Seal
It is used for surface asphalt coating, especially on rural and low-traffic roads. This operation is performed by a machine that has an emulsion bitumen tank and stone materials. During the movement of the machine, first the emulsion bitumen is sprayed on the road surface and then the stone materials from the relevant tank are poured on the bitumen. Then, the rollers of the rubber wheel move on the road, compressing the stone material in the bitumen layer.
Chip seal or surface asphalt is the spreading of an emulsion layer and covering it with granular sand materials.
Road Mix
Road mix asphalt (surface asphalt) is a mixture of rocky materials with liquid bitumen that is prepared and spread without heating and in ambient weather conditions. This mixture should be prepared from rocky materials with broken rock or broken natural river sand.
Bituminous emulsions (Varzfluid®)
An emulsion is an inhomogeneous liquid-in-liquid mixture in which tiny droplets of one liquid are dispersed in another without mixing. Protective, penetration and surface coatings and soil stabilization are used. Varziran Company is also able to produce various cationic and anionic emulsions (Varzfluid®).
