Types of mastic

Polymer modified bitumen-based heating mastic with polymer, which is used for executive joints and expansion. Polymer thermosetting mastic for sealing should be designed according to the climatic conditions of the region. One of the most effective and advanced methods to prevent water infiltration into the pavement and prevent its destruction is to fill the joints of the concrete surface as well as cracks on the asphalt road surface with bituminous mastics modified with polymeric materials. Performing sealing with suitable polymeric mastic using special equipment and machines and by an experienced executive team, will significantly increase the life of the pavement. Sealing the cracks before re-asphalting will greatly reduce the reflection of the cracks on the new asphalt layer.

Varzseal® polymer thermosetting mastic is also designed and manufactured for expansion joints of bridges. This mastic with its remarkable elasticity and excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces is a very suitable option for filling the expansion joint of stairs. The scope of application of these materials are: concrete roads, parking lots, multi storey parkings, asphalt streets, water supply canals, drinking water storage sources and water and sewage treatment plants.

The characteristics and advantages of these mastics are: resistance to seawater and sewage, resistance to weather conditions, excellent adhesion to concrete and asphalt, no leakage up to about +80 degrees Celsius and maintaining flexibility at low temperatures.

Polymer Varzseal® mastic is divided into two categories based on the place of application:

Asphalt surface

Varzseal® SH/15 is one of the types of fine polymer hot mastics produced by Varziran Company, which is designed in accordance with the climatic conditions of Iran and for sealing asphalt coatings in tropical regions.

One of the most effective and advanced methods to prevent water penetration into the pavement and prevent its destruction is to fill the cracks on the road surface with polymer mastic. Varzseal® SH/18 is one of the fine polymer hot mastics produced by Varziran company, which is designed to fill expansion, contraction and execution joints in drinking water tanks.

This mastic is used to seal the horizontal surfaces of concrete and pools. Varziran horizontal sealing and sealing mastic with excellent adhesion to joints, grooves and surface pores, has a complete sealing performance and has a health approval for use in drinking water tanks.

Varzseal® SH/60 bituminous mastic is one of the types of fine polymer hot mastics of Varziran company, which is designed to fill expansion, contraction and execution joints in drinking water tanks. This type of mastic is used for vertical surface joints. And with excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces and walls, it has a good performance in sealing joints and grooves in water tanks. Varzseal® SH/60 polymer bitumen mastic has a health approval for use in drinking water tanks.

Varzseal® SH/10 is one of the types of fine polymer hot mastics for expansion joints of bridges, aprons and runways of airports and roads with concrete cover. This product with its remarkable elasticity and excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces and tolerance to various weather conditions, is the main option for filling joints in a variety of concrete road structures.

Varzseal® SH/100 mastic is one of the types of fine-grained polymer mastic produced by Varziran Company, which is designed in accordance with the climatic conditions of Iran and for filling and sealing the expansion joints of bridges. Heated polymer mastic for filling and sealing the expansion joint of bridges with 800% tensile adhesion and volumetric filler and insulation.
